New Vocations All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show

We are pleased to share the overwhelming success of New Vocations' All-Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show, Presented by Iris Smith Stables, LLC, held in Aiken, South Carolina, earlier this month. In its second year, the show nearly doubled the number of horses competing and raised more than $150,000. All proceeds from the event will go directly to support New Vocations’ efforts to rehab, retrain, and rehome retiring racehorses. Click here to learn more about the event.

Meet Secret Deployment. Despite being the son of the Eclipse award winner Midshipman, “Ivan” showed little interest in racing. Luckily, Nelda Kettles of TAA-Accredited Horse and Hound Rescue Foundation knew there was another career out there for the young Thoroughbred. After spending some time with trainer Jamie Jennings, Ivan has now found his forever home with Jessica Troup, who is more than happy to let young Ivan dictate where they go next!
