Emotional Kitten and colt have a new schedule

Emotional Kitten and her colt are doing well at Denali Stud. Late last week, the colt had his front legs wrapped. The broodmare manager shared this overview: "Sometimes in young babies, as their legs get stronger, they tend to exercise and run more. This can cause their tendons that are on the front of their legs to tighten and become contracted. We like to give them some help by supporting them while up in the stall to help relax those tendons, so they don’t become too upright and sore." After a few hours, the wraps were removed from his legs as the tendons relaxed adequately.
Emotional Kitten and her colt are now on a new schedule. Enjoy a short video of the social colt outdoors with his mom below. We are working to adjust the cameras accordingly:

1 pm - 7:30 am Paddock
