Seahorse d'Oro, the Foal Patrol Season 1 Bodemeister filly out of Memento d’Oro, kicked off her 4-year-old season with a third in Aqueduct's 9th race on Sunday. She has been campaigned by Brown Road Racing and conditioned by Raymond Handal since the fall of 2021. Congratulations to Seahorse d'Oro and all her connections!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Naming Contest for the Two-Year-Old Filly by Bodemeister out of Memento d'Oro at Old Tavern Farm.
Seahorse d’Oro is the winner! Old Tavern Farm received over 600 creative submissions and ultimately felt that Seahorse d’Oro encompassed her lineage and head marking best. We all look forward to the start of her career.

Racehorse Naming Contest
Old Tavern Farm is asking for your help in naming a two-year-old homebred filly by Bodemeister out of Memento d’Oro. You may remember her from Foal Patrol Season 1 & everyone’s favorite seahorse!
Submit your name idea at the farm's website here. Submissions will be accepted until July 30th. Have fun and be creative!
All submissions will be collected and reviewed by the Old Tavern Farm team. Once they pick a favorite name, they will confirm the submission is in accordance with the guidelines set forth by The Jockey Club. They will then announce the winner via social media!
(p.s. the name Seahorse is already taken...they tried!)
